Indian sweet- Besan ke laddu


Besan Laddu Recipe: Besan Laddu is a traditional sweet made in Indian homes. The taste of Gram flour laddus made by mother's hands cannot be found in any other sweet. There is hardly anyone who does not like the wet smell of gram flour roasted in pure ghee. Besan laddus have special significance in any celebration.Most of the people like to eat gram flour laddus. If you also eat gram flour laddus with taste and want to make it sweet at home, then today we are going to tell you the easy recipe for making gram flour laddus. For besan laddoos to be tasty, it is very important that they do not become too hard after making and their gram flour should also be cooked well. By following our recipe, you will be able to easily prepare flavorful besan laddus.



Ingredients to make Besan Laddus 

  • Gram flour – 2 cups 
  • Ghee - 1 cup 
  • Powdered sugar - 1 cup 
  • Cashew nuts chopped - 10
  •  Almonds chopped - 10 
  • Pistachio slices - 1 tsp 
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Method to make Besan Ladoo 

  • To make Besan Laddus, first take a thick bottomed pan and put ghee in it and let it heat on low flame. When the ghee becomes hot and melts, add gram flour to it and mix it well. After this, stirring the gram flour,
  • Roast it on low flame for about 12-13 minutes. Besan has to be roasted until its color turns light brown and a wet smell starts coming from it.
  • Now take cashews and almonds and cut them into fine pieces. 
  • After this add chopped cashews and almonds to gram flour and mix well. 
  • After this, sprinkle some water in the gram flour and roast it. 
  • This will help in making gram flour grainy. Now roast the gram flour until its water dries up. 
  • After this turn off the gas. 
  • Now take a big plate and take out the mixture of gram flour in it.Keep the gram flour aside to cool down for a while. When the gram flour remains slightly hot, 
  • add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix it well with the gram flour. 
  • Mix the mixture well with both the hands. When the sugar and gram flour mix well, take the mixture of gram flour in both the hands and press them and start tying their laddus. 
  • Keep the prepared laddus separately in a tray or plate and paste the pistachio clippings on them by pressing them. In this way your delicious gram flour laddus are ready.
