You can also try making it at home with this recipe of rice kheer.Ingredients to make Rice Kheer: Rice, raisins, almonds, pistachios and milk are used to make this sweet dish. How to serve rice kheer: You can eat rice kheer either hot or cold but Kheer tastes better when eaten cold.

Ingredients of rice kheer

  • 5 cups milk, full cream
  • 1/4 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 10-15 raisins
  • 4 green cardamom
  • 10-12 almonds, chopped

Method

1. Boil rice and milk in a pan.
2.Cook on low heat until the rice is cooked and the milk thickens.
3. Then add cardamom powder, sugar and raisins to it.
4. Stir it continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
5. Use almonds and pistachios for garnishing.
6. Serve cold or hot kheer.

Recipe Note
  •  You can also add saffron and rose water to the kheer for a different taste and aroma.
  •  If you want, you can also add saffron to the kheer.
