Indian Sweet: Gulgule

Gulgule Recipe: Eating jaggery and avoiding dumplings, you must have heard this saying, but have you eaten dumplings?Gulgule Pua Recipe is a very easy recipe. In Western Uttar Pradesh, the first dish the new bride cooks in the kitchen is sweet Puya or Gulgule Pua. These sweet puas are also made in religious functions and worship. Where malpuas are spread, the dumplings are in the shape of pua pakodas. If you like sweets, then you will like these sweet Gulgule Puye very much. Ingredients for Gulgule Wheat flour - 1 cup  Sugar - ¼ cup  Oil - for frying the dumplings  Method -   Put sugar and 1/2 cup water in a pan and cook it till the sugar dissolves.   Dissolve the flour with this water.  Prepare a batter by adding 1/2 cup water and flour.  Whisk the solution until the lumps are gone.  The consistency of this solution should be like that of pakodas,  it should fall continuously when dropped from a spoon.  Keep the solution covered for 10 minutes.
